Confirmation Sunday |  May 5

Today we celebrate the faith of 12 young people who have completed the confirmation course and are prepared to affirm their baptism publicly. Gift bags are located in the Fellowship Hall to receive cards, gifts, and well-wishes for this years confirmands: Elise Aasen, Bailey Acton, Kael Blanchard, Addie Burkett, Avary Darling, Alexis Davis, Sean Dole, Halle Hoefing, Ariana Moreno, Elise Petsche, Megan Riley, and James Snow. Please come to the reception in between services to congratulate them in this important milestone in their faith!

The roses on the altar have been given in honor of the confirmands.

RAGBRAI Salads

Our application for the Health Department requires a list of ingredients that will be used, so please send or drop off your salad recipes to the office or Coleen or Lisa AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  Also, if your salad requires seasoning, please consider donating the seasoning.   THANKS!   Coleen & Lisa

Our Faith in Film UPDATE

Because of your sponsorship, a total 146 people enjoyed the movies; 165 food or paper products were donated to Matura Madison Outreach. Cash donations of $97.08 were received, which was split among St. Paul’s Furniture Ministry, Matura Madison Outreach and CRISP. Another $30 in checks to CRISP was also donated.

With your initial generous donation to the project, St. Paul gave an additional $50 each to Matura, CRISP, the Furniture Ministry, and our Pool of Siloam and donated funds towards the advertising costs of the project.

Blessings on your generosity in this Easter season!

CRISP School Supply Drive

Even though school is still in session, the CRISP office is gearing up for the school supplies drive for the 2019-2020 school year.

This year we are requesting cash donations versus actual school supplies.  This allows us to buy in bulk, provide more consistency in the backpacks and makes it easier for us due to our pending office relocation.  If you are interested in sponsoring a student, it costs an average of $40 per child to provide them with backpack and supplies for the school year.  However, donations in any amount are GREATLY appreciated.  All donations may be sent to CRISP, 110 W. Washington St. Winterset, IA 50273.

The CRISP office is also looking for additional volunteers to help with the school supply drive and other programs throughout the year.  If you are interested, please contact the CRISP office at 515-462-9400.
