St. Paul Lutheran Church offers a variety of opportunities for adults to gather, study, learn, and grow together. Here are a few of our current offerings.

Mystic Monday: Do you ever feel the need to unplug from the world and reconnect with God? You are invited to try Mystic Monday, St. Paul’s prayer/contemplation group on Monday nights from 5:30-6:00pm. During the half-hour gathering we will experiment with historic yet forgotten practices of Christian prayer: centering prayer, guided meditation, lectio divina, and others. We will also discuss breathing, posture, and the role of the Trinity in our prayer lives. Come join the Monday night mystics!

On Sunday mornings at 9:40, from mid-September through April, there is an adult Bible study held in the Chapel, led by Twila Seibert. This group studies one book of the Bible at a time, with a historical and cultural perspective.

On Wednesday mornings at 9:00, Pastor Joel Nau leads Java & Jesus, a study of the weekly scriptures, with plenty of time for discussion and coffee.
